About Tori Buckley, MA, LPC

Hello! I’m Tori (she/her).

Whether you're navigating the complexities of relationships, diving into identity exploration, or managing life's ever-evolving transitions, I’m here to provide an understanding and safe space tailored for your growth.

Personally, having a background that frequently (geographically & emotionally) moved with the tides of my father's Naval career, I deeply resonate with the roller coaster of emotions that accompany change. This insight fuels my passion for supporting you, especially during those pivotal life moments.

I'm honored to work with a vibrant spectrum of individuals and couples (2+), notably within the ethically non-monogamous (ENM), LGBTQ+, and kink communities. Many of my clients come to me after feeling misunderstood elsewhere, seeking a therapist who genuinely "gets" them. With both personal and professional connections to these communities, I offer an empathetic, knowledgeable approach that respects the unique mind, body, and spirit of every individual.

I also proudly bring a specialized expertise in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Certified through a comprehensive 200-hour training program with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI), I've also had the privilege of working with IPI for over a year, in both assisting and leading intramuscular (IM) ketamine training retreats for 300+ students (in groups of about 20 at a time). Moreover, I've immersed myself in all of the educational offerings from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and played an instrumental role as a facilitator during a MAPS/IPI cross-over retreat in the Summer of 2023. In my practice, I offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and psychedelic integration, and look forward to hopefully being able to offer psilocybin and MDMA sessions soon, as they become legalized.

My expertise extends to aiding clients in life transitions such as beginning or ending college, starting/expanding your family, and identity explorations. With a master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, specialized training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, I bring a well-rounded, informed approach to therapy.

Relationships, both with self and others, are our most profound tools for reflection, healing, and transformation. Through a holistic perspective, where I incorporate mindfulness, somatic strategies, parts work, and attachment theory, I strive to help you identify patterns, shift out of "autopilot," and craft a life filled with intention and satisfaction. Parents—from conventional to queer, non-monogamous, and blended families—find solace in my guidance as we deconstruct societal norms, uncover personal parenting values, and conquer the challenges of PMADs.

With a master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University (2015), specialized training & certifications in psychedelic-assisted therapy and PMADs, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, I bring a well-rounded, informed approach to therapy.

In essence, I’m here to journey with you - through the highs, lows, and everything in between. Let's craft your narrative, cultivate resilience, and nurture a life rich with authenticity and fulfillment.
